Airbag. But no safety first. The airbag is the Big Bang and the bag of hot air at the same time. The moment of impact that hurls us into a universe and thereby saves us from doom. The airbag is the spark in the engine that gets the exhibition going.

Airbag is about an attitude: full throttle, headfirst, without a helmet, and thinking only afterwards. An experience that feels and smells like screeching tires.

The exhibition embraces the chain (collision) reaction and invites artists, designers, and the public to explore mobility, displacement, crash, rhythm, and the underground. From illegal raves in garages to oil-finger-painting car mechanics. From parking spot to temporary utopia. The warehouse becomes a parking garage, playground, and underground all at once.
